Monday Madness

Have you ever noticed Monday's just have that feel. The weekend as fantastic. Victoria was visiting with her cousins for the night so I went to Andrea's cabin with her and some friends. It was the first stress free day/night I have had for quite a while. I would have to say the 4 wheeling through the mud was AWESOME. Yes I know I am a girly girl but man it was fun. Once I left however it went down hill fast. Work was just madness as usual and of course the drama that is my life was at a HIGH prior to going in to work. Add that together with the nasty weather and you guessed it a HUGE migraine. That just made waking up to Monday worse than it needed to be. Victoria was so close to missing the bus again...I think tomorrow I will just drive her and save the issue.

Wednesday night Confessions

Random things I confess about today

• I confess that I hate that I didn't get to work my normal shift and had to work days
• I confess that I got my morning coffee at Timmy's paid for by a complete stranger
• I confess I openly resented all the stupidness that kept me from drinking my coffee while it was still hot. I confess I drank it anyway.
• I confess that on no less than 5 separate occasions I seriously considered duct taping my obnoxious coworker to her chair and pushing her down the hall and leaving her on another unit.
• I confess I didn't do it and that I am truly sad and disappointed about it.
• I confess I took my break to by groceries instead of having lunch.
• I confess my dishes aren't done.
• I confess my laundry pile needs it's own postal code but I am watching House as the laundry is still contained in the hamper.
• I confess that I am tired out but I refuse to go to bed yet.
• I confess I took so long to write this that it is no longer Wednesday anymore.

Bruins vs Habs Sept 22

Last nights game was amazing! I had a BLAST. The game was awesome and it was wonderful to see the B boys win!!!! YAY!!! I am one happy Bruins fan :)

Not so Mad Monday

Monday wasn't bad this week. I took a vacation day. Victoria had an inservice day. We stayed in bed and watched Curious George and took our time getting up and around. No interesting story for the mad Monday files this week lol

Prayers For Riely

I am sorry for not posting quite like I normally do. I have had a migraine that doesn't seem to want to leave. So tonight, in place of my normal rant or funny story about Victoria or myself I am going to ask you all to help me pray for Riely.

For those of you who don't know I am a Sunday School teacher at the church I attend. My class is a Primary/One split but since we have a small congregation I often have several preschoolers with me. One of the preschoolers was hurt very badly last week in a freak farm accident. Poor little Riley was airlifted to the IWK children's hospital in the city last week in critical condition. The family was in touch the following day to let me know how he was doing but were very vague on details and with it being a very sensitive issue I didn't pry. At that time he was still in stable but critical condition. I haven't heard anything since. I hope and pray that we will be okay.

And this is why I don't go to the Hospital!!!!

The House Was Too Quiet

Once again this was my fault. I made the stupid decision to have a shower in the middle of the day. Everything seemed fine. Victoria was in her room playing with her Barbie and Bratz dolls. About 5 min into the shower I heard a thump. When asked what was going on I got the "Nothing Mom" response. Anyway everything else was quiet. I should have known that was a sign of trouble. When I was done and went to see what Miss Muppet was up to I almost had a heart attack. Her beautiful blond hair was pink. Bright NEON pink. I laughed. What else could I do. I washed her hair 3 times but it is still pretty pink. I have posted some pictures of how it looks after being washed 3 times...the heart attack prevented me taking before shots....*sigh

The teenage years should be fun.

My Little Falling Leaf

I am such a slacker. I was very kindly reminded by my best friend that I have yet to upload a video of Victoria dancing in her ballet recital back in the spring. My very pathetic excuse is that I had pneumonia and then forgot...my excuses aren't very creative are they? Anyway the title of the spring show for 2008 was The Four Seasons. Victoria's class were falling leaves. The video I have uploaded was a "surprise" dance that Victoria and her friend Anna did with one of the instructors. None of us parents knew they were doing it. Four of the instructors were the four seasons spring, summer, fall and winter. This instructor was fall. Victoria and Anna came out to represent the changing of seasons from summer to fall. The little girl in the corner of the stage that is carried off the stage at the end by "fall" is dressed as a butterfly just in case you can't tell. Victoria and Anna were to lead there class out after this was over so please forgive the 15 seconds of blank stage at the end. I wanted to get Victoria when she came back on stage.

Choices....the Career Edition

So without looking a job opportunity has fallen into my lap. Way more money (over double!!) than I make now, awesome benefits, an office, a travelling and housing allowance. Only down side is that it is in the city AND it is only a project. Which may mean at the end I have NOTHING. I have been told it will more than likely work into something else, but can I really trust that? I have no idea what to do! When did life stop being easy???

Dad's Pumpkins are going to K-Rock

Dad made the website of local radio station K-Rock 89.3. Afer the weigh offs K-Rock will be using dad's pumpkins as boats. I can't wait to see it.

We Missed The Bus....

This was my fault. I stayed up way to late last night. I was up until around 3 am on MSN. Obviously I didn't get much sleep. I had trouble getting Victoria up, she wanted to sleep in too the poor kid. Everything went fine until it came time for her to get dressed. Today is school picture day. Victoria wanted to wear a dress, however it was freezing this morning and she wanted to wear a sun dress. Over my dead body. Well by the time she realized that if she wanted to wear a dress she was going to have to cooperate the bus was in the subdivision. We were ready to leave when the bus came up the road. I ended up driving her to school. On the plus side I got to meet her teacher.

Weekend

It's Monday...well actually Tuesday since it is past midnight. I am counting down to my REALLY long weekend. IS that wrong??

I am way too stressed or depressed or something...I need the time off.

Dad took his smaller pumpkin down to the early weigh off in Widsor last night. He took 5th place. That's an AWESOME finish for his his first year entering competition.
