Halloween Dance

Victoria had a dance this week at school. They all had so much fun! Glow sticks, dancing, prizes and treats, what else could you ask for?

The scary tiger and his glow stick daddy bought him.

The Cake....

So this is the "firetruck" cake. Not my best work to say the least. To be honest the frosting was the problem. Harry doesn't like fondant, nor does he like royal icing. Both would have been far better choices to decorate with. This left me with just plain old, sweet sticky icing. I used less liquid to try and keep it a bit on the stiff side, however my kitchen was far too warm and the frosting was runny and not doing what I wanted at all. It was my hope the Fireman Sam figures would distract from the horrid cake.

Harry, however LOVED his cake! He also loved the candles and I believe we re lit them no less than 20 times! Happy (early) Birthday Harrison!

He certainly looks like he likes it anyway!

Cake...

Tomorrow is Harry's Birthday Party....Wednesday is his actual birthday. With life being how it has been lately I am a wee bit stressed. So today I baked cakes....tonight I make them into a fire truck...yeah I know...Good luck with that right?? I promise to post pictures of what is sure to be an epic fail.

How to move a Giant Pumpkin...The Easy Way!

Giant Pumpkin Pictures

Dad's pumpkins are all loaded on the trailer and we are ready for the big weigh off tomorrow! This year dad decided to try something different for loading the pumpkin. He hired MacInnis Landscaping to come with a Bobcat to use the lift ring and move the giants. It worked rather well. I will upload the videos once YouTube stops being a pain in the rear!

LOVE THIS PICTURE OF HARRY!!!!

Huge thank you and shout out to MacInnis Landscape Design and constructions services!! (visit them online at http://www.macinnislandscaping.ca/ )
