So my car is fixed....BUT now my bank account needs some first aid!

Well after a complete break job, replacing various miscellaneous parts, keeping my car a week at the garage and costing me $2600 dollars, I FINALLY have a working car.

I seriously need to take a second job to pay off my car bill. Did I mention I HATE CARS???????

Yeah so you remember the post from yesterday where I mentioned my breaks needed work??

Clearly they didn't fix them properly. Today I had a meeting out in Berwick, I had to be there by 9:30am. Well I started on my merry way, for whatever reason I needed to tap my break to slow down and the back drivers side break jammed on rather quickly!!! So I did some fancy spin and came to a very abrupt stop. Now the rear wheel on the drivers side won't turn at all. On top of being royally ticked I am a little sore after the incident too.

For the record

I HATE CARS!!!

Car Repairs...The Saga Continues

My car decided to take another hissy fit! Apparently it needed new wires and plugs and some other obscure parts I had never heard of. NOW apparently there is something wrong with the back breaks. Seriously???

If Ashley were home I am sure he could fix the stupid thing, or at least know if this garage is ripping me off or not. UGH!

Seriously starting to think I need to move into my office and be done with cars!!!

Sunday Night Confessions

I confess:

• I got up late and was pushed for time. I ended up wearing mismatched socks to work. No one noticed but it was still uncomfortable.
• I had to stay late at work, again....we were short staffed (again)
• Victoria has a nasty flu....poor kid feels terrible...fever...cough...stuffed up...yeah the whole package.
• Ashely is too freaking far away and we need him HOME!!! Of course Victoria wants him and he's away...ARGH!!
• I confess I am to tired to finish this list....

A Letter To Mr Cinnamon Raisin Bagel Guy

Dear Mr Cinnamon Raisin Bagel Guy,

I am sure you don't remember me but I am the sesame seed bagel (toasted with butter) girl whom was standing behind you in line and Tim Horton's this morning (I was the blond in the blue coat). Much to my dismay after receiving my order and leaving the store I discovered they must have switched our orders. Had I not been almost to Berwick (stuck in construction on the 101) when I noticed I would have alerted the "highly talented" staff of the error. On a side note I did enjoy your bagel. Hopefully my order was to your liking.

Why do I even bother wasting my money on toys???

For whatever reason we had purchased a stupid number of plastic cups for something and the extra went to Victoria for her play kitchen. I left her out in the family room watching TV while I finished some things up in the other room. When I came back I found her playing with the cups. SHE DID THIS FOR HOURS!!! Remind me why we buy her toys???

First Day Of Grade 2

Today was the first day back to school in our neck of the woods. Victoria was really excited to get back. I ended up driving her so I could meet her teachers (whom I LOVE by the way) and take some all important photos. Here are some of my favorites!
